Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan step up tourism campaign

Sri Lanka and Kyrgyzstan are stepping up tourism marketing campaigns in Korea, amid an increasing number of Korean travelers abroad. During a travel fair titled “The Road Show of Sri Lanka Tourism” in Seoul, June 10, Charge d’Affaires Jagath Abeywarna at the S Lankan Embassy in Korea underscored travel safety in the aftermath of the deadly Easter Sunday bombings. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Korea Dinara Kemelova highlighted the latest increase in the number of international tourists to her country at a forum titled “Kyrgyzstan - new way in tourism,” in Seoul, June 5.
