Cyclone Fani: Heavy rains and strong winds to lash Sri Lanka, advisory issued

Cyclone Fani: Showers or thundershowers at times will occur over most parts of the island. Till now, Galle has received 19 mm of rains, Katunayake, Monaragala, Ratnapura, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala and Katugastota recorded 4.7mm, 111.8 mm, 4.5 mm, 3.3 mm, 3 mm and 12 mm of rains, respectively.
